Learner Led Progress
Mindful Behavior Supports takes a student and child-centered approach to tailor individualized supports to meet the unique needs of each and every learner. We foster agency in our learners so they can be a part of their treatment, goals and growth.
Consultation
We provide consultation and professional development to school districts, professionals, and families on a wide range of topics including: trauma-informed practices, compassionate and student-centered behavior support, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment training and inclusive classroom practice through the lens of equity and cultural awareness.
Parent Support
We take the approach of parents being the experts on their child. We want to cultivate meaningful collaboration and support with families to address challenging behavior in the home and community, develop mindful parenting strategies, and receive acceptance and commitment training to help navigate the many layers of parenting a child with unique needs.
Individualized Support
In some cases, it may be appropriate that we work directly with a learner to support their social-emotional needs. By taking a learner-centered approach, we can create meaningful and accessible treatment plans to work on skills such as: social skills, independence, executive functioning skills, amongst many other skills depending on the student’s needs, values, and choice.
